Awaken Community seeks to awaken people in faith, life and relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire to live in the Spirit of the Lord and respond to the Gospel Way of Life.

OUR MISSION AND VISION
The mission of our Awaken ministry is to unite people with Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the source and centre of our lives. In the encounter with Jesus, our hope is that Jesus will awaken people’s faith and love of Him, so that they will be compelled to go out and share the Good News with others! Awaken is a prayer group that is made up of faithfuls who love the Lord, the Catholic Church, and those with a desire to renew Parish life and respond to the call of The New Evangelisation. Awaken ministry meets every first Saturday of the Month at 7pm, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Acacia Ridge. The basic format of an Awaken experience is fivefold: Kerygmatic preaching (sharing the Word of God), Praise and worship, Meditation, Healing and Holy Eucharist. Follow us on our Facebook page |
