Awaken is a Ministry that seeks to awaken people in faith, life and relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire to know our Holy Father, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit in all the fullness of the Gospel, to live as Sons and Daughters of God.

YOUTH We're game changers, life changers and world changers. We're empowering the next generation of superheroes. A Christ-driven ministry, we're here to help you overcome any challenge that comes your way. We meet at least once a month and have age-related activities for youths aged 5-17. Hit us up! We'd love to have you on board. hello@risingyouthministry.org Rising Youth Ministry (5 years old - 17 years old) RYM meets 3rd Sunday of each month 2pm-4pm in the school hall. We encourage you to stay of for the 5pm spiritus mass after youth. Rising High (13 years old - 17 years old) RH is held after the 5pm mass on a Sunday 6pm-7.30pm we gather in the Blue Hall, eat dinner together, play games, have a talk by Fr Lam and the Youth Leaders and finish with Praise and Worship. Scheduled nights for 2022 to be announced shortly. (Currently the Rising High are involved with parish outreach program) (next event will be published through parish) Testimonies: A miracle and a mighty blessing! Gavin was diagnosed with advanced stage metastatic gastric cancer mid-January this year. The medical specialists all believed there was no hope. His son took him to an Awaken Prayer Meeting in March and the Awaken community rallied together and held a 24hr Prayer Vigil for Gavin’s healing. He attended another Awaken Prayer Evening in April where he received a prophetic word regarding his healing. Last Wednesday Gavin received the report from the Hospital confirming that the cancer had resolved itself in all organs and also reflected significant marked regression of the spread to the lymph nodes. This is a remarkable result as Gavin is now cured of his advance stage cancer. Gavin has been healed and given a second chance and now believes God is real and that prayers are truly powerful. OUR MISSION AND VISION
The mission of our Awaken ministry is to unite people with Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the source and centre of our lives. In the encounter with Jesus, our hope is that Jesus will awaken people’s faith and love of Him, so that they will be compelled to go out and share the Good News with others! Awaken is a Ministry that is made up of people who love the Lord, the Catholic Church, and those with a desire to renew Parish life and respond to the call of The New Evangelisation. Awaken ministry meets every first Saturday of the Month at 7pm, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Acacia Ridge. The basic format of an Awaken experience is fivefold: Kerygmatic preaching (sharing the Word of God), Praise and worship, Meditation, Healing and Holy Eucharist.
