Awaken is a Ministry that seeks to awaken people in faith, life and relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire to know our Holy Father, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit in all the fullness of the Gospel, to live as Sons and Daughters of God.
Monthly Prayer Meeting - Awaken Nights
  • On the First Saturday of each month we hold our Praise, Worhsip and Teaching Nights - content varies each month, come along, enter into our beautiful worship and come to know Jesus more intimately, be filled with the Holy Spirit and come to know the Peace and Love that we can walk in each day with him at our side.

Sitting at the Feet of Jesus - Online
  • New in 2022 Join us on our weekly live stream as we study God's word with a short teaching and discuss the different aspects of how to incorporate His teaching into our daily life. Everyone welcome grab a coffee and click on the link:     Every Wednesday 10am (Launching in February)

Senior's Group
  • Every Thursday of each month we come together in the hall for morning tea in the hall 9.30-10.30. Come along it is a great group of around 20 people.  New people welcome it is very welcoming, warm and friendly.
Women's Group Afternoon Tea
  • Fourth Saturday afternoon our women's group gather together to create new friendships, support each other, hear to word of God and enjoy a refreshing afternoon tea 2.30-4.30

BIBLE STUDY
Awaken’s Bible Class based on a DVD series by Jeff Cavin called “Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible” (study book $25, not mandatory to purchase).  The first class will begin on Monday 8th February 2021 and will run weekly every Monday night (7pm to 9pm) until the last class on 29th March 2021. The classes will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Hall (blue building).  Please contact Ellen if you wish to attend 0488 220 606.
OUR MISSION AND VISION
The mission of our Awaken ministry is to unite people with Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the source and centre of our lives. In the encounter with Jesus, our hope is that Jesus will awaken people’s faith and love of Him, so that they will be compelled to go out and share the Good News with others!

Awaken is a prayer group that is made up of faithfuls who love the Lord, the Catholic Church, and those with a desire to renew Parish life and respond to the call of The New Evangelisation.

Awaken ministry meets every first Saturday of the Month at 7pm, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Acacia Ridge. The basic format of an Awaken experience is fivefold: Kerygmatic preaching (sharing the Word of God), Praise and worship, Meditation, Healing and Holy Eucharist.​
