Awaken Prayer Evening 7th May

Many eager and thirsty for the living Word of God!
We warmly welcome all of our new members, many of which drove quite long distances to get to the Awaken Prayer Evening on Saturday night.
It was beautiful to see so many turn out hungry and thirsty for the Word of God and boy did the power of God turn up to meet that need!
The Holy Spirit moved through Steffanie as she shared further on the Miracle of Oneness and the importance of remaining 'In Christ' where that oneness develops. The power of the Holy Spirit is so beautiful and gentle as He reminded us of the consequences of not remaining 'In Him'. We had a plant being pruned and grapes dropping, great visuals which left all thirsty for more.
I had the privilege of speaking with people as they left and it was touching to see their eyes shining and many state that the scriptures had never come alive to them like this before. They loved listening, as their hearts were opened and they understood for the very first time.
Healing prayer is always an incredibly powerful time, with many receiving in their seats. For those who wanted to receive individual prayer it was such a beautiful intimate time for them to hear and receive directly from our Lord. Please send your testimonies in as you continue to receive from the Lord, it is always so important to share for the witness of others.
It seems so surreal that we are able to meet consistently each month again after the last couple of years, but the power of God is moving so powerfully each month and it continues to build. Next month we will be meeting on the 11th June so make sure to note down the change and register via Eventbrite as this helps us with numbers for catering and for contact if there is any changes. Also follow us on Facebook to keep up to date!
We invite you to come and sit before the king, our Lord Jesus Christ, and receive directly into your life:

Testimony - A miracle and a mighty blessing!

Gavin was diagnosed with advanced stage metastatic gastric cancer mid-January this year. The medical specialists all believed there was no hope. His son took him to an Awaken Prayer Meeting in March and the Awaken community rallied together and held a 24hr Prayer Vigil for Gavin’s healing. He attended another Awaken Prayer Evening in April where he received a prophetic word regarding his healing. Last Wednesday Gavin received the report from the Hospital confirming that the cancer had resolved itself in all organs and also reflected significant marked regression of the spread to the lymph nodes. This is a remarkable result as Gavin is now cured of his advance stage cancer. Gavin has been healed and given a second chance and now believes God is real and that prayers are truly powerful. Pre-Loved Markets

What an amazing day at the Awaken Pre-Loved Markets on the 30th April. It was an overwhelming success with incredible support from the local community. Our fundraising expectations were generously superseded thanks to the generosity of the community and the closing time had to be extended due to the amount of people still coming in at the end of the day.
The efforts of the volunteers from the Parish community, African Community and Awaken Together in Christ Ministry was outstanding. The love friendship generosity and joy they radiated was a true reflection of a life filled with the hope of our Lord Jesus - what a witness! Please share in some photos from the day below.

Car Wash - enormous success!

The car wash was an absolute success and was a brilliant opportunity to bring our community together! We are so thankful to everyone who gave up their Saturday and came down to help us raise funds for our community; from the Awaken team, the youth, parents, the parishioners as well as Father!  We are so blessed to have so many volunteers and it was amazing to be able to watch the youth have so much fun washing cars, working as a team and trying to make sure they didn't get caught by the hose! It was amazing to see people who weren't from our parish coming along too. We got to have great conversations with everyone who came and it was such a great opportunity to learn more about the parishioners in our community as well.
We definitely had some concerns about the rain, but Steff prayed to stop the rain and God revealed that He would do a miracle. We were so thankful that God answered our prayers and kept the rain at bay leaving us dancing in the rain at the very end. We were so happy to see so many people coming to register their cars and are thankful for the donations we received.
We look forward to hosting our next car wash and we know for sure you guys will enjoy it just as much as we did.

We Walk in Love & Unity

The Breastplate of St Patrick
I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through belief in the Threeness,
Through confession of the Oneness
of the Creator of creation.
I arise today
Through the strength of Christ's birth with His baptism,
Through the strength of His crucifixion with His burial,
Through the strength of His resurrection with His ascension,
Through the strength of His descent for the judgment of doom.
I arise today
Through the strength of the love of cherubim,
In the obedience of angels,
In the service of archangels,
In the hope of resurrection to meet with reward,
In the prayers of patriarchs,
In the predictions of prophets,
In the preaching of apostles,
In the faith of confessors,
In the innocence of holy virgins,
In the deeds of righteous men.
I arise today, through
The strength of heaven,
The light of the sun,
The radiance of the moon,
The splendor of fire,
The speed of lightning,
The swiftness of wind,
The depth of the sea,
The stability of the earth,
The firmness of rock.
I arise today, through
God's strength to pilot me,
God's might to uphold me,
God's wisdom to guide me,
God's eye to look before me,
God's ear to hear me,
God's word to speak for me,
God's hand to guard me,
God's shield to protect me,
God's host to save me
From snares of devils,
From temptation of vices,
From everyone who shall wish me ill,
afar and near.
I summon today
All these powers between me and those evils,
Against every cruel and merciless power
that may oppose my body and soul,
Against incantations of false prophets,
Against black laws of pagandom,
Against false laws of heretics,
Against craft of idolatry,
Against spells of witches and smiths and wizards,
Against every knowledge that corrupts man's body and soul;
Christ to shield me today
Against poison, against burning,
Against drowning, against wounding,
So that there may come to me an abundance of reward.
Christ with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ on my right,
Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down,
Christ when I sit down,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.
I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through belief in the Threeness,
Through confession of the Oneness
of the Creator of creation.
